A Florida mom has been arrested after her husband allegedly found footage of her engaging in sexual activity with the family dog.
Malia Nummerdor, 38, was charged with engaging in sexual contact with an animal this week after her husband, Erik Nummerdor, reported the alleged incident to police.
He had also shared the allegations on Facebook and claimed to have photo and video evidence, the New York Post reported.

Husband allegedly discovered footage on security camera
According to an arrest report from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Erik told investigators that he had installed two security cameras inside the family’s home because money had apparently been disappearing from a coin jar.
However, while reviewing footage recorded by a camera in a bedroom, he allegedly found a disturbing video showing his wife with the family dog.
Erik later showed investigators images captured by the camera and provided access to the laptop containing additional footage of the alleged encounter.
“He stated the bedroom camera was visible, displayed a blinking red light, and was known to household members,” a detective wrote in an affidavit obtained by PEOPLE. “The camera recorded continuously in rolling intervals, overwriting older footage.”
The affidavit states that the security video allegedly showed Malia “nude from the waist down, positioned with the dog in a manner consistent with sexual activity”.
Nummerdor denied sexual contact
On Tuesday (September 15), police interviewed Malia about the video.
She reportedly acknowledged that she was the person seen in the video with the dog, however, she denied having sexual contact with the animal and claimed she had simply been petting it.
Per authorities, the woman was also unable to explain some of the actions depicted in the footage, with officers describing her answers as contradictory.
Malia’s social media accounts contain pictures of her with her husband over the years. The couple married in 2023 and share two sons.

Malia was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Charlotte County Jail, where records show she smiled while having her mugshot taken.
Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell condemned the alleged conduct and also addressed her smiling in the booking photograph.
“There are only a few times in my career that I have been at a loss for words. This is one of those times. I simply cannot comprehend this behavior. No animal should ever be subjected to this kind of conduct, and you can be sure that we will take action when we learn about it here in Charlotte County,” Prummell said in a statement.
“And then to smile in the mugshot? I don’t know what there is to smile about when you’ve been arrested for something as disgusting as this,” he added.
Sexual activity involving animals is a second-degree felony under Florida law.
Malia’s bond amount is $35,000.
