Disturbing Final Words Shouted At Teen After He Jumped Off Cruise Into Shark-Infested Waters

The chilling final words shouted to a missing teenager moments before he disappeared after jumping from a cruise ship into waters known for sharks have now come to light.

Cameron Robbins was remembered as a talented high school baseball player who played third base, shortstop, and pitcher.

Friends and family also said he had a passion for country music and was considered a ‘big star’ whenever karaoke started.

The teenager had traveled to the Bahamas in May 2023 to celebrate graduating high school.

While there, he boarded the Blackbeard’s Revenge sunset cruise with friends, but heartbreakingly, he has not been seen since.

The haunting last words directed at Robbins have since been confirmed.

Speaking to the New York Post, his parents described him as ‘funny and kind-hearted’ as well as ‘intense and driven.’

Because Robbins’ body was never recovered, authorities eventually classified him as ‘lost at sea.’ United Cajun Navy spokesperson Brian Trascher explained to Fox News Digital that this classification is effectively the same as a death certificate.

A graduation trip that turned tragic

Witnesses said Robbins jumped overboard on a dare during the cruise on May 24, entering the water near Athol Island.

Video footage of the incident later spread across social media, fueling a number of conspiracy theories online.

Users on Reddit have analyzed the clip frame by frame, with some convinced a shark can be seen close to the teenager in the water.

One person claims: “The video shows it clearly, he was attacked by a shark and dragged under.”

Another agreed, writing: “You can see the shark on the left side of the video.”

Kevin McMurray, who operates a website documenting shark attacks, told the Mirror that such a scenario could not be ruled out.

He said: “Either he sank or a shark ate his body, that’s possible. There are a lot of tiger sharks there, and they’ll scavenge.”

Royal Bahamas Defence Force Commodore Raymond King also referred to the area where Robbins jumped as “shark-infested.”

Experts remain divided over what happened

Not everyone believes sharks were involved in the teen’s disappearance, however.

Brian Trascher, spokesperson for the nonprofit United Cajun Navy, which assisted the Robbins family, told the New York Post: “We’ve consulted with oceanography and fisheries experts.

“They don’t believe… that he came in contact with any type of shark or predatory marine life. And until we get a better video or something more conclusive, that’s going to be our position.”

Butch Hendrick, president of the dive training company Lifeguard Systems, explained that shark attacks are relatively uncommon in the Bahamas.

Instead, he suggested Robbins may have struggled to regain his breath after jumping from the boat, or that strong currents may have contributed to the tragedy.

Despite the many theories surrounding the case, what truly happened to Robbins remains unknown.

The haunting final moments caught on camera

The final words shouted toward Robbins can reportedly be heard in footage captured moments before he vanished.

As the teenager floated in the water, someone onboard the boat could be heard yelling ‘bye-bye.’

At the same time, other passengers desperately attempted to direct Robbins toward a buoy in hopes it would help keep him afloat.

Shouts of ‘grab the buoy’ and ‘hey, the buoy’ could be heard echoing across the water.

While painful uncertainty still surrounds Robbins’ disappearance, loved ones continue to remember him as a cherished son, brother, and friend.
